Definitely worth the money. I have used many drugstore brand bases or ones that claim to be a two in one, this not only helped my nail polish last longer but helped ensure that any ridges in my nails didn't show through polish application.

I’ve been using the Hardcore base coat, and thought that it was “one or the other”. But I did decided to try this just to have something subtle and sheer when my nails aren’t “done”. Lately, I’ve been doing a coat of Hardcore, then a coat of Getting Even, THEN my polish, then the topcoat. It makes the first coat look so much better, removes any temptation for a third coat, and makes my mani feel invincible. Give it a go.

I love this stuff. I’ve tried many bases and this remains my favorite. It helps with staining, it blurs visible nail line and provides a more opaque base for sheer polishes, it even looks pretty on its own in a few coats! Will continue to repurchase.
